✧ Your privacy is an integral part of the Umbro ritual. This protocol describes how we handle your information when you use our avatar atelier — with the same care we apply to every frame and interaction. By using Umbro, you trust us with your data; we commit to protecting it with transparency and respect.

1. DATA WE COLLECT

Umbro is designed to minimize data collection while delivering a rich artistic experience. We may collect the following categories of information:

IMAGES — Photos you explicitly choose to import from your camera or gallery for avatar creation. These are processed locally on your device and are not uploaded to our servers unless you voluntarily save them to iCloud via your device settings.
USAGE DATA — Anonymous interaction metrics (e.g., which frames are used, frequency of exports) to help us improve the fluidity of the card stack and overall design.
PURCHASE INFO — When you buy coins, transaction identifiers are processed by the platform (Apple App Store). Umbro does not store full payment details.
CONTACT — If you email us, we retain your message and address only to respond.

2. HOW WE USE INFORMATION

⚡ All image processing for avatar creation (frames, rotation, stacking effects) happens on your device — your raw photos are never sent to Umbro servers. We use aggregated, non-identifiable data solely to refine the artistic tools and ensure sustainable coin economy operations.

3. STORAGE & RETENTION

Your creations are stored locally in your app sandbox. If you enable iCloud sync, they may reside in your personal iCloud container, governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. Umbro does not maintain a central database of user avatars. We retain only anonymous analytics (with no personal identifiers) for as long as needed to improve the experience.

4. SHARING & DISCLOSURE

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Umbro may share aggregated, non-personal statistics (e.g., "most used frame this month") to celebrate our creative community. We may access or disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Umbro, our users, or others — but we will always strive to be transparent when possible.

5. YOUR RIGHTS & CHOICES

You are in control. You can:

Use the app without granting access to your photo library (limited functionality).
Delete any creation from your history at any time.
Reset analytics identifiers via your device settings.
Contact us to inquire about data we may hold (though we store very little).

Umbro is not directed to individuals under the age of 13 (or equivalent minimum age in applicable jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that a child has provided us with personal data, we will take steps to delete it.

6. CHANGES TO THIS PROTOCOL

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for artistic evolution. The revised version will be indicated by an updated "effective" date within the app. We encourage you to periodically review this page for the latest information on our privacy practices.
